Python opens the material up to a much wider range of students, and conceptually we can cover just about all of the material in Python. Python is also particularly important for deep learning, which will be an important focus of the program.

However, you are right that C/C++ is important in the automotive world. Depending on feedback from employers and students, we may include some C/C++ material in the program.
