Hi Anthony Taylor! This sounds like our mistake. This program isn’t really right for a complete programming novice — I think you’d be hard-pressed to keep up and ultimately unhappy.

Udacity does have a terrific Intro to Programming Nanodegree Program, though!

Unless you have a strong (and surprising) sense that you are ready for this program in spite of being a programming novice, would you be able to write support@udacity.com and ask for a refund? They will happily refund your tuition or help you enroll in the Intro to Programming Nanodegree Program instead.
