For future projects, it might help to either have a GPU or access to a cloud GPU instance, like with AWS. And otherwise just a good computer that you are already happy using for software development.

The major pre-requisites for the course are Python, C++, basic statistics, calculus, linear algebra, and phyiscs.

If you’ve covered all those, jump into deep learning early!
