I have a few suggestions for learning more about how to work with OpenCV.

1. Try their tutorials. Sometimes it helps me to see functions in action.
2. Search and post for help in the usual places — Stack Overflow, Slack, the Udacity Forums.
3. Gary Bradski has a new OpenCV3 book coming out in January. Pre-order it!
