I do not think you are too old! It’s never to late to learn new skills :-)

Most autonomous vehicle development right now is happening in US, Germany, and Japan. There is a smaller amount of work happening in China and India, but I think the amount of work in those markets will grow with time.

If you are good and willing to move, companies will hire you. Immigration is tough, but it’s definitely possible.
